Ka'el (he/him) is a Portland-based trans photographer whose work explores identity, expression, connection, and storytelling. He creates safe, collaborative spaces where people can feel seen and express themselves through image-making.
With over 15 years of healthcare experience, including work in trans healthcare, Ka'el brings a deep understanding of vulnerability and what it means to be truly witnessed. He has photographed for Licks Magazine in London and created videography for Provecho Magazine in Portland. He volunteers with Queer Croydon, documenting trans and LGBTQIA+ events in the UK.
